All notes from this Lancaster County bank are extremely rare. In 1865, after five years of operation, this became the Union National Mount Joy Bank (Charter 1516). Children and livestock relax at top center and a red protector is across. Noted with \"Edge Tears and Damage; Rust Stains.\" Like many of the great Pennsylvania rarities in the Newman Collection, this might be the listed note cited in Hoober and Haxby.
