The Diamond Back $20 Silver has always been a scarce and much desired type. Spanning four Friedberg numbers (Fr. 313-316), the total of reported examples in all grades is less than 150 pieces. Half of these are Fr. 314, not nearly enough for the number of type note collectors. Daniel Manning, flanked by Agriculture and Industry, is at the center of the face. He was Secretary of the Treasury at the time, and his portrait was engraved by Lorenzo Hatch. Though the face exhibits surface soiling, the brown seal color is sharp, and the important green back is vibrant. Noted with a \"Small Edge Tear at Top Right.\" A collectible example of a type that is difficult to obtain. Ex: Eric P.
