MA-153. PCGS Very Fine 25 Apparent.  An extremely rare July 8, 1775 copperplate note. The plate with this denomination still exists. The verso shows the engraving of Harvard College by Paul Revere. Only 540 notes of this denomination were authorized. This boldly printed note is broad and evenly margined. Half of the left end indent design remains, with a few letters of \"American\" visible. Noted as \"Pen Cancelled\" and with \"Splits and Repairs; Minor Stains.\" This is a perfect representative of the Revere copperplate style and the rarer series of the two dates. Ex: Eric P.
