Bryant, a fourth generation Santa Cruzan, and the rest of the wharf staff are getting ready for the annual Winter on the Wharf, which takes place this year on December 16. The event, presented by Santa Cruz Parks and Recreation, along with the city's police and fire departments will feature a snow area, face painting, balloon designs as well as a visit by Santa Claus on a vintage fire engine. Patchen Tree Farms, located at the Santa Cruz Mountains summit, donated and delivered the 19' pine tree to the wharf. Other local companies helping to sponsor the celebration include BroPrints, Lee Balloons, Big Creek Lumber and Bay Federal Credit Union.
