An advanced camp was also offered. Pickleball is often described as a combination of tennis, ping-pong and badminton and according to the New York Times, “grew nearly 40 percent between 2019 and 2021, making it America’s fastest-growing sport.\" This week’s intermediate and advanced camps at Cabrillo feature nationally ranked sister-brother team of Lindsey and Riley Newman to provide instruction.
