Valedictorian Joshua Gabrielson and Salutatorians Mary Calden, Auren Dysart and Miles Hoogner were among the speakers at the ceremony and an illustration by Gabrielson graced the cover of the graduation program. The current SLV High School opened in 1954. The original Boulder Creek School was built in 1905 and rebuilt after the 1906 earthquake. Around 1947 Boulder Creek High School adopted the name of San Lorenzo Valley High.
