Pensinger, consultant in cardiology and internal medicine at Santa Cruz Veterinary Hospital and who holds posts at several veterinary schools in California, said that the course, which begins Saturday and lasts for a week, is a first in veterinary medicine. The course is directed at graduate veterinarians. Among the courses, which will be taught by seven faculty-members, will be respiratory medicine, economics of internal practice, internal medicine and the clinical laboratory, and a six-day review course on background and advances in veterinary internal medicine.
