The use of low load BFR has potential as an alternative means to high load resistance training, to increases muscle size and strength and could be very valuable in a rehabilitative setting (Manini et al. 2009, Thiebaud et al. 2013, &amp; Scott et al 2015). Using elastic knee wraps and two different low loads of 20 and 30% 1RM, the participants performed 4 sets to failure on a leg extension machine. The purpose of this study was to determine the acute muscular differences after using elastic knee wraps in BFR exercise at two different low loads.
