It is a melting pot of different cultural backgrounds,ethnicities, political beliefs, social and economic levels, etc. We as a nation have many different laws and regulations that weneed to follow to avoid being arrested (the taking into police custody of an individual suspected of a crime) or worsebecoming a chronic offender. We as a society have been heavily influenced by things we consume, and acknowledge (popculture, consumer goods, etc.) the role of a police officer in America is the simplest of terms to serve and protect. As of latethe role of law enforcement has been put under the spotlight and society's attitudes and perceptions have been challengedby the anxiety of crime and fear of racial discrimination and acts of
