The middle two buildings comprise the A & W. The structure to the middle right with the white flat top being a covered eating area with picnic tables. Milton and Mae Champion built and opened the A & W Drive-In in 1961. The A & W was located at 860 Gravenstein Highway next to the Belmont Terrace development. The A & W was sold by the Champions in 1972 to Jess White who owned the A & W in Healdsburg.
