Surely, shelter at home necessitated more cooking, and ultimately more innovation around standard house repairs. When my 5-year old refrigerator started making loud noises, I knew I was likely in for an ordeal getting a repair person to come to my home. God bless the kind souls who have made DIY videos about sleuthing and possible repairs. I watched 3-5 videos, got out my drill and hair dryer, disassembled the back inside of the appliance and was able to defrost the fan in back of the unit. Mercifully, the noise was gone and the \"fridge\" was back in business! I ended up making subsequent repairs to my washing machine, my 2001 SUV, and my rear view mirror.
