The hotel's chimney was still standing. The only building that survived was the Union Block (left). After the rubble was cleared, it was moved down to the northeast corner and put on the foundation of the destroyed hotel with its front facing west. It functioned as the town's hotel for many years, then sometime in the 1930s it became a bar owned by Elmer Crowell, with rooms to rent upstairs. Photo taken on Ross Road looking east. The livery stable on the right became Baker's Lunch."},{"label":"Title","value":"Aftermath of 1915 fire that swept through the north side of Graton's Main Street, looking east from Ross Road"},{"label":"Local History and Culture Theme","value":["Public Safety, Law and Crime"]},{"label":"Source of Title and Description Note","value":"Title supplied by cataloger"},{"label":"Maps/StreetView","value":"View location in <a href=\"https://www.google.com/maps/place/Ross+Road+and+Graton+Road+Graton+California@38.436282,-122.86977,17m/data=!3m1!1e3\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Google Maps</a>"},{"label":"Map Zoom Level","value":["17"]},{"label":"Geocoding Status","value":["Exact geocoding"]},{"label":"Longitude","value":"-122.86977"},{"label":"Latitude","value":"38.436282"},{"label":"Street Address","value":"Ross Road and Graton Road, Graton, California"},{"label":"Geographic Metadata Source","value":["GNIS"]},{"label":"Geographic Feature","value":["Graton Road","Ross Road"]},{"label":"District","value":["Graton"]},{"label":"California County","value":["Sonoma"]},{"label":"State or Province","value":["California"]},{"label":"Country","value":["United States"]},{"label":"Subject (Time Period)","value":"1910-1919"},{"label":"Filename","value":"casebwsc_pho_011771.jp2"},{"label":"Credit line","value":"Courtesy, Western Sonoma County Historical Society"},{"label":"Subject keywords","value":"Public Safety, Law and Crime; 1910-1919; United States; California; Sonoma; Graton; Graton Road; Ross Road"},{"label":"Single date for City of SR GIS","value":"D:00 M:00 Y:1915"},{"label":"View on Alternative Site","value":"View photo location on the <a href=\"https://maps.srcity.org/Html5Viewer/Index.html?viewer=socolibrary&center=-122.86977,38.436282,4326&scale=1200\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Sonoma County Historical Photos Map</a> hosted by the City of Santa Rosa"},{"label":"Collection(s)","value":["Western Sonoma County Historical Society Collection"]}],"description":"Aftermath of 1915 fire that swept through the north side of Graton's Main Street, looking east from Ross Road","sequences":[{"@type":"sc:Sequence","canvases":[{"@id":"https://iiif.quartexcollections.com/sonomalibrary/iiif/ee789226-1df2-49f1-b851-1dcf907e3483/canvas/_1","@type":"sc:Canvas","label":"Aftermath of 1915 fire that swept through the north side of Graton's Main Street, looking east from Ross Road","height":565,"width":725,"images":[{"@type":"oa:Annotation","motivation":"sc:painting","resource":{"@id":"https://iiif.quartexcollections.com/sonomalibrary/iiif/ee789226-1df2-49f1-b851-1dcf907e3483/full/full/0/default.jpg","@type":"dctypes:Image","format":"image/jp2","service":{"@context":"http://iiif.io/api/image/2/context.json","@id":"https://iiif.quartexcollections.com/sonomalibrary/iiif/ee789226-1df2-49f1-b851-1dcf907e3483","profile":"http://iiif.io/api/image/2/level2.json","tiles":[{"width":512,"scaleFactors":[1,2]}]},"height":565,"width":725},"on":"https://iiif.quartexcollections.com/sonomalibrary/iiif/ee789226-1df2-49f1-b851-1dcf907e3483/canvas/_1","metadata":[]}],"thumbnail":{"@id":"https://iiif.quartexcollections.com/sonomalibrary/iiif/ee789226-1df2-49f1-b851-1dcf907e3483/full/500,500/0/default.jpg","@type":"dctypes:Image","height":500,"width":500}}]}],"thumbnail":"https://iiif.quartexcollections.com/sonomalibrary/iiif/ee789226-1df2-49f1-b851-1dcf907e3483/full/500,500/0/default.jpg","logo":"https://iiif.quartexcollections.com/sonomalibrary/iiif/logo"}
