Many of the images have been digitally enhanced.</p><p>Kevin Moore moved to Cloverdale in 1979 to join the local fire department. Interested in local history, he collaborated with his brother-in-law Ed Bold, a respected Mendocino County historian, on research projects. He soon focused on Cloverdale's past, collecting early postcards and photographs. The collection eventually grew to more than 350 items, many of which were later featured in newspaper articles and publications. In 2024, Kevin began digitizing and enhancing the images using software.
