I immigrated to the U.S. on October 18, 1960 and became a naturalized citizen in 1967. I reside in Santa Rosa, CA. During the Obama administration I started writing my memoir for my family and friends. Its working title was FROM HITLER TO OBAMA. During the 2016 election season, I changed the working title to FROM HITLER TO HILARY. That did have a certain ring to it, but then came the ugly election surprise. It changed the title to FROM HITLER TO TRUMP, and the book took on a whole new meaning. It interested a local independent book publisher, and my book was published on Amazon on October 1, 2020. I’m no stranger to writing because I’ve worked in marketing and advertising since 1978. It involved writing ad copy in the B2B space. In 1997, while between jobs, I enrolled in the course “Accelerated Program for 6-Figure Copywriting” offered by AWAI (American Writers & Artists Institute). This course has been invaluable to me in writing for all types of audiences. In 2008 I retired from employment and I’ve been working as a copywriter and translator on the Upwork freelancers platform ever since.
