The McCaughey Bros Inc. owned the Garage with A. S. Huck manager. Signs advertise Poland and Shatto repairs, Associated Gasoline. To the left is the Wing Yuen Tai Co. General Merchandise and Japanese & Chinese Employment Office. Chrystal White Soap sign. Both businesses were located to the immediate left of Pellini Chevrolet building. The Chinese store was torn down and the garage and store lot were eventually incorporated into the present Pellini location. The alley to the immediate left of the Wany Yuen Tai store (current street to the right of Pellini used car lot) was known as South China Street during these early years. A Chinatown thrived there from just past the 1900s and into the 1940s. The building immediately to the left of the Wang Yuen Tai store was Bridgeford Planing Mill.
