Atterbury truck carrying huge cut timber with four horses helping to pull the load on the up grade from Scotty Creek. Truly a steep grade up out of the creek. The Atterbury truck was probably 1921 or 1922. Note steering wheel, shifts and emergency brake (Johnson's bar) on right hand side. Note rail fence. West boundary of Buckhorn Ranch, an old stage stop. The Road went through to the coast, or down to Willow Creek. The stage went down to Willow Creek and around on ferry near mouth of Willow Creek.
