The exhibit was designed by John Begley, a Guerneville artist, and built under the direction of Percy Wright, Sonoma County agricultural commissioner. In the individual sweepstakes events, Sonoma County also won first prize in the sweet wines and brandies division, took first in wine and viticulture products division, tied for second place in the wine grapes division, placed second in the field seeds and second in the apples division.
