Born and raised in Houston, Texas, Harris draws upon his identity as a child of war refugees to explore and process intergenerational trauma in relation to the Vietnamese War. Harris examines important themes relating to the Vietnamese diaspora, exploring multi-faceted issues surrounding migration, land, and labor. His work has been featured at the Houston Center for Photography and the Blaffer Art Museum. He is set to graduate with a Bachelors of Fine Art with a concentration of Photography and Digital Media from the University of Houston.
