She lived there for her entire childhood, staying at her grandmother's house as the oldest child. She had five other siblings. As a young adult she decided to become a nurse and studied extremely hard to be the best she could be and gain the opportunity to come to America. She eventually came to the United States through a travel agency that was bringing in nurses. She was brought to Texas on a two-year visa in 1998 and thoroughly enjoyed her experiences. Her fiance and future husband also moved to America, but to a different state, California. She worked hard as a nurse and eventually made her way to head nurse.
