Building on their 2013 letter to the President on climate change, the Presidents Council of Advisors on Science and Technology (PCAST) finds that private sector entities place limited value on adapting to long-term impacts of climate change, rarely report metrics for measuring the success of climate change adaptation initiatives, and have difficulty discovering and using tools and information from the federal government relevant to climate change adaptation.
