The Dial: An Occasional Publication was co-edited by Charles Ricketts and Charles Shannon between 1889 and 1897 for five issues that were released irregularly throughout its run. The periodical was a large influence to the growing 'little magazine' scene and helped revive interest in typography and wood engraving. Contributors to the magazine were kept to a small group of artists, primarily including those who were a part of Rickett's aesthete coterie."},{"label":"People and Organizations","value":["Ricketts, Charles S., 1866-1931","Shannon, Charles, 1863-1937","Savage, Reginald, 1886-1932"]},{"label":"Accessibility","value":["This item may have accessibility enhancements created by AI, which means there might be misspellings and/or grammatical errors.
