It was an Italian-made gold and silver cabin sloop model donated by member Jack Weatherford to the Houston Yacht Club in hopes of reviving sloop racing on the Bay. The trophy would be given to the skipper who won it three times. Competitions for the trophy continued well into 1925 when Ross Sterling and his Anita finally won it."},{"label":"Abstract","value":"This item is part of a collection that consists of photographs and documents related to the activities of the Houston Yacht Club.
