Growing up, his father worked as a microbiologist, and his mother worked as a NICU nurse. He was raised in New Brunswick, New Jersey, and lived a fairly typical American childhood. Mr. Kuo pursued a bachelor�s degree in Strategic Management from the University of Pennsylvania in 1992. He landed his first job in 1996 at Deloitte Consulting as a consultant in Strategy and Operations Practice and later attained his MBA from Columbia Business School in 1999. In the years ahead, he worked on the corporate and client sides of Pfizer and, in 2013, became Vice President of Commercial Operations at Cardinal Health. Currently, he works under Elsevier, at the forefront in several roles, including leading business operations, operational excellence, and business intelligence.
