She found her passion in painting earlier on, with the support from her family who spent almost half of their annual income to support her pursue painting, along with her own talent and effort, she entered the best art school in China, China Academy of Art, as a top student. She met her ex-husband during a trip in her senior year and immediately married him upon graduation and moved to Jinan, Shandong Province. In the next 8 years, she became a housewife and raised two children. Although financially she was abundantly provided by her husband, she became depressed as she had little time to create art. She returned to work in 2016 in Beijing and traveled between Jinan and Beijing to try to maintain a balance between work and family. Realizing that it wasn’t going to work, she divorced her husband and dedicated herself to her career in art. She worked as the executive director in a local museum in Jinan in 2016, and later founded an art education organization called “Promoting Art”.
