Barnard, # 2 Alex Braham, # 8 Steve Borsuik. Last row: # 2 Jim Travis,Founded in 1893, as the Burlington Box, Barrel and Basket Works by W. T. Glover, a successful fruit grower, to manufacture containers for national and international shipment of fruit grown in the Burlington area. Renamed the W. T. Glover Manufacturing Co. Ltd. in 1908, later absorbed by Oakville Wood Specialties. The factory was located in Freeman near the train station. Elm and basswood basket materials were highly flammable, and the Glover factory burned down twice - in 1937 and again in 1966, after which it was not rebuilt.
