A. Voysey: rough-parged stucco, rustic stone surrounds for the arched door and below the base of the first-floor windows; flared copper roofs over these windows; cedar shingled hipped roof, and above all, the large front gable, with steep pitched roof swooping down to envelope part of the first floor. The muntined windows , grouped in threes and fours, are often-seen details in Roseland. The architect, who has not been identified, appears to have beeen influenced by Burlington's finest residence, Lakehurst Villa on Lakeshore Road, which was demolished in 1992. The compatible design of the garage addition recalls the garage added by Lakehurst Villa's second owner, James R. Moodie.,Plan 220, Roseland Court, was registered in 1925 by Virgil Ross Hart.
