Plan 623 was registered by Stanley Mills in 1918. Bert Loosley was a veteran of the First World War who had been exposed to mustard gas poisoning. He worked for 40 years as a yard foreman for the National Fireproofing Company of Canada / Natco Clay Products. Ross Taylor, who knew Bert and his son Harold, supplied a copy of the undated photograph of Bert Loosley at the beehive kiln site. 1923 School Section # 2 roll: Albert Loosley age 24, laborer, Lillian M. age 24, married woman, lot 9 [sic]; 1925, 1925, 1926, same. Sold in 1956 to Joseph Patrick & Madeline Mary Gallo; in 1966 to Alberto & Edda (Elda?) Fortuna; in 1976 to Wayne Bruce Bowden & Sharon Denise Bowden. ARCHITECTURE: The original one-storey frame structure, later clad with coved clapboard siding is now part of the rear wing.
