D. Flatt on 6 June 1911. In that year he and his wife registered an \"agreement\" with Ada J. Babb, wife of Richard S. Babb. But in 1917 the Flatts sold the property to John E. Clark. Richards, painter Green, $19,000. 1922 Telephone Directory: Charles B and John E. Clark, The Anchorage, Port Nelson. ARCHITECTURE: A large two-and-a-half-storey brick structure with a truncated close-eaves hipped roof. The front entrance is set half way down the east side in a projecting vestibule with a parapet wall at the second level. The door has an arched transom with muntin tracings. Behind this is a projecting wing. Wood sash six-over-six windows have radiating voussoirs and louvred shutters. A large semi-octagonal bay at the front . ENVIRONMENT: Very attractive landscaping, with row of mature trees along the property line, stone retaining wall, concrete drive, stone walkway. The house is secluded from Lakeshore Road. USABILITY: INTEGRITY: Replacement cedar shingle roof and dormer.
