Photos taken of paintings,Painting of the barn was done for Christmas 1976 by Joseph Doher who had worked with Howard Alderson. It was given to Howard as a gift. The house was painted by Mary Jane Weber (nee Lemon).,The Farms and Farming was purchased by Christopher & Margaret Alderson in 1905 (SW Corner Dundas & Guelph Line; lot 16, Con 1, SDS). They moved into the home with their 3 young chldren: Margaret, John M. & Louise. There was a board over the door with the name \"Eglantine\". Christopher added the front porch with roof. John M. replaced the front door with side lights; John M & his wife, Zetta, who were married in 1919, resided in the home. They raised 3 Children and youth: Jean, Bassie & Howard. The parents died in 1925 & 1927.
