The sofa bears the inscription: ÔÇ£We still rememberÔÇØ in honor of the sacrifices made by Canadians to free the Netherlands in 1945 during World War II. The piece was named Louise by itÔÇÖs designer Gerard Van Den Berg. The couch is constructed of stainless steel and granite, and weighs 1570 kilograms or 3461 pounds.
