The ground floor has many full-length windows and french doors; the second storey windows, above a brick string course, are smaller, but still of generous size. The house is set back and secluded from the street.,Part of the Pine Cove Survey, Plan 136, registered by W. D. Flatt on 6 June 1911. In that year he and his wife registered an \"agreement\" with Ada J. Babb, wife of Richard S. Babb. But in 1917 the Flatts sold the property to John E. Clark. Richards, painter Green, $19,000. \"Gorgeous Georgian\", and article in the 20 February 1999 Hamilton Spectator, Documents that the house was built in 1919 for owners who never moved in, but instead gave it as a wedding present to a couple who lived there until 1989. It was then restored and updated by the new owners. The cedar shingle roof was restored in the 1990s.
