Both the folder and the individual postcards could be mailed to friends in Canada using a one cent stamp. The Souvenir Folder was published ca 1918. This Photograph is also found on a postcard sent in 1913, where the scene is identified as \"Oakbank\". Oak Banks was located near the foot of Elizabeth Street. Hiram Smith (1834 - 1870) and his wife Hannah Philips Chisholm lived in a very gracious house near the oak-treed banks of the Lake, across the street from the business Smith owned in partnership with his brother-in-law Colonel Andrew MacKenzie Chisholm. They built ships here. The WIDGEON was launched on Rambo Creek, running aground on Burlington Bay off Fongers Point on her maiden voyage. The house was demolished and replaced by a gas station."},{"label":"Date","value":"ca 1913"},{"label":"Date (EDTF)","value":"D:00 M:00 Y:1913"},{"label":"Title","value":"Souvenir Folder, Oak Banks [Oak Bank], Lake Shore, ca 1918"},{"label":"Repository","value":["Burlington Historical Society"]}],"description":"Souvenir Folder, Oak Banks [Oak Bank], Lake Shore, ca 1918","sequences":[{"@type":"sc:Sequence","canvases":[{"@id":"https://iiif.quartexcollections.com/qstarter29/iiif/c78675a8-3bb2-4b7a-b00d-049daf6bacdb/canvas/_1","@type":"sc:Canvas","label":"Souvenir Folder, Oak Banks [Oak Bank], Lake Shore, ca 1918","height":1000,"width":1600,"images":[{"@type":"oa:Annotation","motivation":"sc:painting","resource":{"@id":"https://iiif.quartexcollections.com/qstarter29/iiif/c78675a8-3bb2-4b7a-b00d-049daf6bacdb/full/full/0/default.jpg","@type":"dctypes:Image","format":"image/jpeg","service":{"@context":"http://iiif.io/api/image/2/context.json","@id":"https://iiif.quartexcollections.com/qstarter29/iiif/c78675a8-3bb2-4b7a-b00d-049daf6bacdb","profile":"http://iiif.io/api/image/2/level2.json","tiles":[{"width":512,"scaleFactors":[1,2,4]}]},"height":1000,"width":1600},"on":"https://iiif.quartexcollections.com/qstarter29/iiif/c78675a8-3bb2-4b7a-b00d-049daf6bacdb/canvas/_1","metadata":[]}],"thumbnail":{"@id":"https://iiif.quartexcollections.com/qstarter29/iiif/c78675a8-3bb2-4b7a-b00d-049daf6bacdb/full/500,500/0/default.jpg","@type":"dctypes:Image","height":500,"width":500}}]}],"thumbnail":"https://iiif.quartexcollections.com/qstarter29/iiif/c78675a8-3bb2-4b7a-b00d-049daf6bacdb/full/500,500/0/default.jpg","logo":"https://iiif.quartexcollections.com/qstarter29/iiif/logo"}
