The tall and well proportioned frame structure has a cross-gabled T plan, with slightly projecting transepts at the rear. The gable ends have simple mouldings and pronounced eaves with returns. The enclosed vestibule at the fornt entrance has a lower gable roof and returns, which echo the main roof lines. The doors (one at the front of each transept and the front entrance) and the windows are all tall and narrow with round arches. The arches of the doors and the rear windows have gothic-arched tracery. The rear windows also have the original 15-panes with fine muntins. The front panelled door appears to be a replacement, and the painted-over door of the west side appears to have the original panelling. The timbers and narrow clapboard siding were supplied by William Bousfield who owned a saw mill in Tally Ho.,Built in 1860 (date plaque and BHS Plaque) on land donated by George Harbottle, on East Street where the cemetery remains today. The church was part of the circuit with Lowville, Salem (on Walkers Line), Bethesda (on the Trafalgar town line), Mountain, Nassagaweya and Davidsons'. In 1878 the Church was moved on skids to its present location by Hall Gunby, a noted local barn builder; a Mr Curliss, who had equipment for moving buildings, and the men of Kilbride. The oxen were supplied by James McNiven, George Harbottle and George Bennett."},{"label":"Contributor","value":"Gerarda Tino"},{"label":"Creator","value":"Gerarda Tino"},{"label":"Date","value":"Summer 1978"},{"label":"Date (EDTF)","value":"D:00 M:00 Y:1978"},{"label":"Title","value":"Kilbride United Church, 2066 Kilbride Street, 1978"},{"label":"Repository","value":["Burlington Historical Society"]}],"description":"Kilbride United Church, 2066 Kilbride Street, 1978","sequences":[{"@type":"sc:Sequence","canvases":[{"@id":"https://iiif.quartexcollections.com/qstarter29/iiif/c4593528-1818-42dd-bbe5-92057f091fb1/canvas/_1","@type":"sc:Canvas","label":"Kilbride United Church, 2066 Kilbride Street, 1978","height":1153,"width":1600,"images":[{"@type":"oa:Annotation","motivation":"sc:painting","resource":{"@id":"https://iiif.quartexcollections.com/qstarter29/iiif/c4593528-1818-42dd-bbe5-92057f091fb1/full/full/0/default.jpg","@type":"dctypes:Image","format":"image/jpeg","service":{"@context":"http://iiif.io/api/image/2/context.json","@id":"https://iiif.quartexcollections.com/qstarter29/iiif/c4593528-1818-42dd-bbe5-92057f091fb1","profile":"http://iiif.io/api/image/2/level2.json","tiles":[{"width":512,"scaleFactors":[1,2,4]}]},"height":1153,"width":1600},"on":"https://iiif.quartexcollections.com/qstarter29/iiif/c4593528-1818-42dd-bbe5-92057f091fb1/canvas/_1","metadata":[]}],"thumbnail":{"@id":"https://iiif.quartexcollections.com/qstarter29/iiif/c4593528-1818-42dd-bbe5-92057f091fb1/full/500,500/0/default.jpg","@type":"dctypes:Image","height":500,"width":500}}]}],"thumbnail":"https://iiif.quartexcollections.com/qstarter29/iiif/c4593528-1818-42dd-bbe5-92057f091fb1/full/500,500/0/default.jpg","logo":"https://iiif.quartexcollections.com/qstarter29/iiif/logo"}
