I since have visited this location and found only some old cast iron stove parts as the cabin has completely rotted away. The Easton Hunt Camp was reached by train from Burlington and horse and wagon from the Sundridge railway station. Sundridge was listed as a destination in the CNR \"Hunting in Canada\" booklet for 1924, with four guides available: Albert and Wellington Russel, and Alex and Henry Welch. In the 1960s, when Keith Thornborrow operated an oil service business, Burlington Esso Home Heat Service, he salvaged an annotated copy of this booklet from the flooded basement of William Filman's house (947 Eagle Drive). The Filman family and many others in Aldershot and Burlington made numerous trips by train to hunting camps in Northern Ontario."},{"label":"Creator","value":"unknown"},{"label":"Date","value":"1920s"},{"label":"Date (EDTF)","value":"D:00 M:00 Y:1920"},{"label":"Title","value":"Easton Hunt Camp, 1920s"},{"label":"Repository","value":["Burlington Historical Society"]}],"description":"Easton Hunt Camp, 1920s","sequences":[{"@type":"sc:Sequence","canvases":[{"@id":"https://iiif.quartexcollections.com/qstarter29/iiif/b4a6a14c-465b-4e20-8c40-a960e84ee465/canvas/_1","@type":"sc:Canvas","label":"Easton Hunt Camp, 1920s","height":1154,"width":1600,"images":[{"@type":"oa:Annotation","motivation":"sc:painting","resource":{"@id":"https://iiif.quartexcollections.com/qstarter29/iiif/b4a6a14c-465b-4e20-8c40-a960e84ee465/full/full/0/default.jpg","@type":"dctypes:Image","format":"image/jpeg","service":{"@context":"http://iiif.io/api/image/2/context.json","@id":"https://iiif.quartexcollections.com/qstarter29/iiif/b4a6a14c-465b-4e20-8c40-a960e84ee465","profile":"http://iiif.io/api/image/2/level2.json","tiles":[{"width":512,"scaleFactors":[1,2,4]}]},"height":1154,"width":1600},"on":"https://iiif.quartexcollections.com/qstarter29/iiif/b4a6a14c-465b-4e20-8c40-a960e84ee465/canvas/_1","metadata":[]}],"thumbnail":{"@id":"https://iiif.quartexcollections.com/qstarter29/iiif/b4a6a14c-465b-4e20-8c40-a960e84ee465/full/500,500/0/default.jpg","@type":"dctypes:Image","height":500,"width":500}}]}],"thumbnail":"https://iiif.quartexcollections.com/qstarter29/iiif/b4a6a14c-465b-4e20-8c40-a960e84ee465/full/500,500/0/default.jpg","logo":"https://iiif.quartexcollections.com/qstarter29/iiif/logo"}
