Plan 111, J. C. and M. C. Smith's Subdivision, was registered in 1906. 1916 Sewerage Works Plan: owned by Harry Graham. H. A. Graham, who owned a shoe store at 359 Brant Street from 1906 to the 1940s, is said to have lived at 1421 Lakeshore Road and later on Elizabeth Street. This may have been the residence of the Harry Graham who is listed in the 1906 Telephone Directory as the G. N. W. Telegraph operator on Brant Street. 1910 GOAD Map: inked in: \"cement / brick\"; 1924 GOAD Map: 95 Brant ARCHITECTURE: A two-and-a-half storey brick structure built in a vernacular style with Craftsman elements. The asymmetric front elevation has an off-centre door with a small side window, in contrast to the other more prominent windows. The second-level windows are eccentric in another way, with the multipaned side windows up under the wide eaves. The large centre gable has a small window in the peak and a large double window set lower down. The gable is supported by large wooden brackets.The windows have stone sills (painted brown). Downtown Study (1989) ENVIRONMENT: Contributes to the streetscape of the west side of Brant Street, serving as a buffer for the residential neighbourhood of Locust Street. USABILITY: Adapted for commercial and office use. INTEGRITY: The brick has been painted white, with trim painted a dark brown in stark contrast. The roof of the bay window may be an alteration.
