The hills, forests and escarpment to the north make this park feel special. The natural landforms lift this park above the busy neighborhood. The mural captures the area's past, when this land grew apples and other fruit to feed people. It is still serving the residents of the area, students and visiting sports teams with much needed recreational space. It is important to remember the past and make a connection to the present.
