T. Glover, Esq., Freeman\", illustrated in \"The Garden of Canada (1902), page 33. Glover was the owner of the Burlington Box, Barrel and Basket Works, illustrated and described on page 34. In February 1975, Frances Day as secretary to the BHS House Survey Committee for the National Inventory of Historic Buildings (NIHB) wrote to the Rev Charles Shaver of the Presbyterian congregation which had purchased the property, requesting his help wih the inventory assessment form and sharing the following hisotrical information: This part of Joseph Brant's original Block was left as a legacy to his daughters, who sold 100 acres in January 1834 to Aaron Glover. The 1877 Atlas shows the property as owned by his son Nicholas. His son W. T. Glover was the inventor and patenter of the Imperial Crate, a non-returnable fruit package, and founder of the Glover Box, Barrel and Basket Works in Freeman in 1893. His two sons were Eugene and Carl Glover.
