The high hipped roof has wide eaves. The hipped-roofed veranda is supported by two heavy brick bases. Originally similar to its neighbour, 2178 Caroline, but much better preserved. This retains its original windows with segmented arches and stone sills. At the upper level of the front elevation are a pair of small multi-paned casements and a bay window. ENVIRONMENT: USABILITY: INTEGRITY: The verandah has been enclosed with compatible 3 /1 grouped windows and clapboard siding. Concrete steps with a metal hand railing have been added.
