Sold to Aaron Peer, junior, in 1912. Aaron Peer, senior, aged 88, killed himself in the house in March 1914. About twelve years earlier he had retired from Farms and Farminging (?) in Nassagaweya township and had come to Burlington with his son. He had lived with him and Mrs Peer until his death. See the Gazette, 4 March 1914. ARCHITECTURE: A two-storey front-gabled frame structure. The hipped-roof veranda has a boxed cornice, plain frieze, squared posts and (replacement) plain balustrade. Double-flue brick centre chimney. ENVIRONMENT: Interlocking brick walkway, shrubbery and well kept front yard. Original (?) garage at rear. USABILITY: INTEGRITY: Replacement verandah base and railing. Aluminum siding; replacement windows.
