J. Husband, of Hamilton, has decided to build a first-class up-to-date residence and stables here, on lots which he recently purchased on Burlington avenue, located in the new residential Wellington Park. The building will be of stone and buff pressed brick, and judging from the plans and elevation it will be very complete and well laid out, and a handsome addition to Burlington, and particularly to Wellington Park. This is a direct result of waterworks. Dr Husband and his family are well and favourably known here, so that this news will be welcomed by citizens of Burlington generally. Mr James Harrison will carry out the work. \"Let Burlington Flourish.\" Mrs Husband, Margaret, was a daughter of William Bunton, the earlier developer whose Bunton Block plan included the southern blocks of Burlington Avenue. Rented by the Baldwin family in the 1930s and 1940s. Leslie Murray Baldwin was a manager at Birks in Hamilton, commuting by bus. He suffered a heart attack and died on the bus in 1934, when his son Murray was 4 years old. The widowed Vera Baldwin operated a taxi business. The other Children and youth were Stephen, Patricia, Ridley and Peter, who became a Catholic priest. The house is now divided into five apartments.
