Next to it, the original white frame Knox Church, built in 1845 and retained for use as a Sunday School, was later clad with brick. Two of its original 16 -over-16 windows can be seen. Knox Presbyterian Church, built in 1877, now 471 Elizabeth Street. In 1909 a larger front vestibule was added.
