The Shell gas station; Virtue's Garage and Chysler dealer, also gas station; Locust Street. Esso gas station operated by Wilf Ridley, who lived with his wife on James Street across from the Lions Club Hall, last house before Martha Street; Mrs Watson's boarding house; Mr & Mrs E. R. Swift residence, daughters Margaret and Kathryn (Mr Swift was a mining engineer and Mrs Swift was a supply teacher at Burlingtonton HIgh School); residence of Bill and Leona Lucac in the 1950s and 1960s (Bill had a cold storage plant at the corner of Pine and Elizabeth Street, which was built by W. H. Armstrong, father of Frank, Chris and Les Armstrong); Residence of Mr & Mrs A. C. Mason, who had an exceptional garden (Mrs always addressed her husband as \"A.
