Thomas Lemon (1833-1926) and Mary (Budge) Lemon (1837-1907) of Beverly Township, Lynden, Ontario, of 84 to 86 acres of Farms and Farmingland on \"the Plains\" -- a plateau on the West side of the Grindstone Creek's ravine --for $5,500 from Joseph Hancock in 1881. Charles bought the Farms and Farmingland for 1264 Lemonville Road for $1 from his parents, Thomas and Mary, and built his red brick house ready for marriage. Charles married Martha Hopkins (1866-1937) in December 1893. Their Children and youth were Austin (1895-1961), Lila (1896-1975), and Elwood (1906-1948).
