ARCHITECTURE: A one-storey Craftsman Style summer frame cottage with its original narrow clapboard siding. The full front open verandah has grouped squared posts. Offset gable above front door has plain wood and brackets, plain fascia board. The windows, grouped together, are wood sash with mullions. Oculus vent under the side gable. ENVIRONMENT: Highly visible location across from Spencer Smith Park and next to an 1885/95 summer cottage built by A. B. Coleman. A landmark property making a very strong contribution to the heritage character of Lakeshore Road. USABILITY: Residential use. Might be adapted for commercial use, in this prime location with tourism potential. INTEGRITY: Some deferred maintenance.
