The pleasant proportions and the strong, simple decoration of this spacious church make it a fine example of mid-Victorian vernacular Gothic Revival style. The Burlington Historical Society Plaque cannot be seen.,The original frame church was called the 'Collings Church' which in 1855 was renamed 'Lowville Wesleyan Methodist Church'. This larger brick structure was built on land donated by Thomas Colling in 1872.
