Compare 2048 Caroline: A modest one-storey frame cottage, with a truncated hipped roof and an enclosed front porch with shed roof. Rusticated concrete block foundation, stuccoed at the side. The windows are wood sash with pedimented frames and original storm covers. Comparable to the Clovelly Summer Cottages in The Garden of Canada, (1902) pp.62 - 3.
