The hipped roof is broken by a large gabled dormer, with a group of three small windows. The other original windows have segmental heads with radiating brick voussoirs and dressed stone sills. The present owners removed the enclosed glazed verandah with its walk-out second level, and restored the open verandah, revealing again the handsome proportions of the front entrance.,Built before 1900 for Moses Wilkins and his son Harvey Wilkins, Farms and Farmingers. Wilkins Creek, now known as Roseland Creek, runs behind the house on the east side. The legal description is Con 4 SDS, Part Lot 14. In 1812 Lot 13 was bought from Joseph Brant's daughter Christiana Hill by John Sovereign, By 1833 he owned both Lots 13 and 14. In 1836 they passed to Henry Sovereign, whose Farms and Farminghouse, built in 1845, still stands at 3265 Mayfair Place. In 1860 both lots were sold to Moses Wilkins, who had been listed in the 1851 and 1861 Census records as a carpenter, before he became a Farms and Farminger. In 1878 the property passed from Moses Wilkins & his wife to Daniel Wilkins, who sold 100 acres in 1887 to John Waldie. This house was built before 1912 for H. Wilkins. Murray Fisher, \"Farewell to the Garden of Canada\" (1984) shows Roseland creek or Wilkins Creek: \"H. Wilkins. Grower,\" on the west side of the creek. Removed in 2012 from the Heritage Burlington heritage property registry, for alleged lack of historical, architectural, or contextual value.
