The hipped roof with wide eaves has a similarly roofed front dormer. The full front verandah on brick supports has a shallow wood arch and a wood-siding surround at railing level. The large front windows have diamond-shaped muntins in the upper panes. A bay window above the door creates a pleasingly balanced asymmetry. Compare the similar house at 512 Hager Avenue, with an enclosed verandah; and 518 Hager Avenue, with an offset pedimented gable, but a similar verandah treatment. ENVIRONMENT: USABILITY: INTEGRITY: Soffits have been clad with aluminum.
