At the turn of the century it was part of the thriving lumber business of John Kentner. In 1908, it became the home of the Masons and later an addition was built to the south. The older part is a 2.5 storey building with a high hipped roof, the end facing Brant Street. Under the gable is a bull's eye opening of neo-classical style.
