The truncated hipped roof with wide overhanging eaves is broken by a very large front gable with no windows but with scroll gingerbread bargeboard. This is echoed by a pedimented gable set into the hipped-roof verandah roof, above the entrance steps, which have the usual Craftsman-style brick-and-stone detail. The first-level at the sides projects outwards below the second level, with a hipped-roof detail broken by offset gable above projecting bays, which echo the treatment of the front verandah. Except for a group of three windows at the first level of the front elevation, the windows are paired at both the first and second level. Original garage. ENVIRONMENT: A well-maintained and traditionally landscaped double lot.
